2010 in photos

Now the new year is upon us, I’ve taken a look back at 2010 by way of some photos of the (personally) significant events of the year. It beats writing about it.

It’s fair to say my year was dominated by a very, very heavy work schedule, but that makes for some very, very dull photos and a very, very dull post, so instead (sensibly) I have chosen shots of the more interesting things that happened in 2010.

There are pictures of family events, a friend’s wedding and some of the construction work that was going on at the house this year (all year, instead of the originally estimated four weeks). Cycling features heavily of course, with pictures of a new bike, events I took part in, events I watched and some other cycling related happenings during the year. Twenty odd years after leaving, my old school, Grosvenor High, was demolished and rebuilt in 2010 and I have included pictures from open nights at both the old and new buildings as well as the demolition process. Finally, to round things off, we have snow from both ends of the year, a Lunar Eclipse and some Angry Birds.

So that’s how 2010 looked, now to see what 2011 is like.
